2024 Economic Relief South Carolina Envelope. (ap) — the amount of money in south carolina's state bank accounts continues to grow thanks to a quick recovery from the economic shock. South carolina is receiving about $2.5 billion in state fiscal recovery fund money through the american rescue plan act, the nearly $2 trillion pandemic relief.

It now moves over to the senate. The house budget includes half a billion dollars in property tax relief for homeowners, along with another cut to south carolina’s highest income tax rate.
